San Francisco International Asian American Film FestivalWhen, where: March 12 to 22, venues throughout San Francisco, Berkeley and San Jose.
Highlights: The 27th annual event is the nation's largest showcase for new Asian films. Some 120 features and documentaries will be screened, including "Tokyo Sonata," directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, who will be honored with a retrospective.
