Home of Beverly Hills, Disneyland, and Hollywood, people could define Los Angeles as the land of entertainment, celebrity, eclectic - and maybe eccentric - personality, and sun.Though it is in fact the epicenter of entertainment, LA has much more to offer.

The city's rich cultural fiber finds its way into all aspects of daily life - arts, shopping, nightlife and dining. World-renowned attractions dominate LA's to-do list, but hidden local gems await the adventurous spirit.  Take in the amazing acoustics during  a symphony at the renowned Disney Hall or have cocktails on the Pacific at sunset.

Dine at 5-star restaurants or find the hole-in-the-wall eatery with the best fries in the country. LA is all about acceptance, novelty, creativity and diversity, and Los Angeles hotels run the gamut.

Begin your drive up the Pacific Coast through Malibu and on to Santa Barbara, a gem of a town about 90 minutes north. Enjoy Santa Barbara's beauty, but be sure to hit the Telegraph Brewery in the small industrial section just off downtown for microbrews at their best - made by owner.

Head back South to Burbank, where locals and visitors who prefer to stay out of the hustle and bustle find it a perfect option. Playhouses, historic tours and an outdoor amphitheater add to Burbank's cultural appeal, while the region's glitz, glam and movie-making magic is alive and well at Warner Brothers Entertainment and The Walt Disney Company.

Drive (immersing yourself in LA's car culture) East to Pasadena, home of the Rose Bowl and an absolutely charming downtown. Drive back West to catch an amazing Pacific sunset at the famed Santa Monica pier.
