Secrets and Tips for Palm Springs golf vacations
Play a rising star in Palm Springs golf
If you want to play “the rising star” on your Palm Springs golf vacation before it gets mobbed, play the Arnold
Palmer-designed course at SilverRock Resort in La Quinta, Calif.
SilverRock will continue to be “discovered” as word continues to spread that this municipal course has been a regular host and star attraction of the tournament since 2008.
SilverRock Resort is surrounded by picturesque mountains and rife with lakes, and it is planning a full resort with multiple hotels and spas, and is therefore likely to get a boost on the buzz-o-meter, so play it on your Palm Springs golf vacation while tee times are still fairly easy to get.
Palm Springs golf - The Classic Club
by Michael Castello
Palm Springs is in the Mojave Desert between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. But you wouldn't know that when playing the beautiful Classic Club, because there is more water on this Arnold Palmer course than any other club I've ever played. It's truly an oasis and one of the finest layouts in memory.

The Classic Club is a 7,305 yard par-72 with 30 acres of lakes and 14 stone bridges. Pine trees make much of the course look like it's back East since there are no palm trees, and the Classic Club features over 5,000 Pine, California Pepper & Olive Trees.
Palm Springs golf - Escena Golf Club
by Jerry Martin
Escena Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus design in Palm Springs, was the first course built within the Palm Springs city limits in over 20

years. Everything on opening day was a first, because we and 25 other invited golf pros, were the first guests to ever play the golf course, setting an inaugural course record of 66.
What a terrific golf course! It was in perfect shape, encompassing 172 acres, as well as lakes and streams on 9 of its 18 holes.
