Winter In Catalina Island – A Real Life Christmas Movie
My boyfriend and I chose the cute, quaint, magical island of Catalina to spend our 2-year anniversary. It was absolutely magical in every way. Winter in Catalina is a real-life Christmas movie. I swear I said “we are in a Hallmark movie” about 20 times. Our anniversary falls on December 19th. So it was nice and chilly, and smack in the middle of Christmas season. Which turned out to be for the best. We arrived Saturday, December 18th, and left Monday, December 20th. A short amount of time but a time I’ll never forget. Let me show you everything we did from start to finish! And please enjoy a few…

Spencer’s Restaurant – Palm Springs
Spencer’s Restaurant – Palm Springs Spencer’s Restaurant is the most magical, beautiful spot to have a romantic date in Palm Springs. With big fairytale like trees outside with balls of twinkling light hanging from them, it creates the sort of feel that you’re in an enchanted forest. Will you see Hansel and Gretel? Maybe the witch’s cottage around the corner? Who knows! All you need is some Hans Zimmer humming in the background. Not only is the ambience magical, the food is too. Even better, they have plenty of gluten-free modifications that are clearly marked on the menu. Their outdoor seating is my preference, due to the dreaminess of…

My 3 Day Itinerary in NYC HELLO New YORK! New York City is one of my favorite cities- the vibe being unmatched. Of course, I documented it and now I feel the need to share it. Whether this 3 day itinerary of New York City is fun to read or not, I’m hoping it will inspire you with your own trip to NYC. One weekend, me, my best friend, and New York City. The…

Bâtard – Elegant New York City Restaurant
Bâtard in New York City This Lower Manhattan restaurant is simply elegant. Bâtard’s simplicity and minimal décor is in fact more beautiful than you would expect. The walls are golden yellow that glow with lights and really is the staple look of Bâtard. Small, detailed white vines with leaves trail the walls which is a pretty touch. In fact, I kept commenting on the walls while there. The Story Behind Bâtard There is a historical backstory for me with regards to Bâtard. In the 1980’s, my father was a bartender at the prestigious 24 Fifth Avenue restaurant with renowned Chef Michel Fitoussi. Two of my father’s friends who managed 24…

Loulou Petit Bistro – New York City
Loulou Petit Bistro In New York City I absolutely fell in love with this adorable bistro in Chelsea. One picture of a cocktail they offer and I was immediately sold. I only had a few days in New York City and I made sure Loulou was on my list. In fact. Loulou was my first stop. See more of Loulou here! *all pictures taken by me! (except for the one I’m in ;)) Loulou’s Vibe The aesthetic is gorgeous and boasts an eye grabbing purple flower theme on the exterior. It’s chic and stylish and stands out against the many other buildings around. There is outdoor dining that is kind…

Yamashiro Hollywood – Stunning Japanese Hollywood Hills Restaurant
Yamashiro Hollywood is gorgeous. This outstanding Japanese restaurant is located in a prime spot in Hollywood Hills. Dine outside their walls for stunning views and dazzling ambiance. Dine inside their walls and eat alongside their gardens and koi pond, with an open roof. They play old school music such as Frank Sinatra. The vibes are so romantic and enchanting. The Vibes Outside they have a staircase facing the grand views that lead you to a big golden Buddha. It’s said that a happy Buddha placed in a public setting is meant to bring good fortune to all in his presence and spiritual inspiration. It’s a great place to walk to…
